Distribution of schools across the achievement-level and G3→G6 pattern bins used in automated text on the school overview (landing) page. English-language publicly funded schools, 3-year weighted averages 2022–23 through 2024–25.

Thresholds: level vs province — similar ±5 pp, somewhat 5–15 pp, substantially >15 pp; G3→G6 relative change — similar ±5 pp boundary.

Level vs Province

Number of schools in each achievement-level bin relative to the province, by metric and grade. "No data" = metric was suppressed or school didn't offer that grade.

G3→G6 Pattern

Change in the school's score from Grade 3 to Grade 6 relative to the provincial G3→G6 change. Only schools with both G3 and G6 data are classified; the rest appear as "No data."

For schools with both grades, how does the G3 achievement bin predict the G6 achievement bin? Values are row percentages (% of G3 bin); N = schools in that G3 bin. A diagonal-heavy table means G3 position is persistent; off-diagonal cells show schools that changed relative standing across grades.
