I'm a data scientist and policy analyst in Ottawa. My mother was a school principal; my father, an economist who studied education. I started my own career in education research before moving into forecasting and AI, including published work on the reliability of social science and using AI to assess scientific credibility. That work sharpened a habit of asking whether the data actually supports the conclusion.

In government, I've applied that habit to AI adoption and governance, helping design accountability frameworks and running algorithmic impact assessments. This dashboard is an application of the same lens to Ontario school data, which happens to be personal: I'm also a parent of two kids in Ottawa's public system. I serve as a School Champion for Unplugged Canada. I love technology, but I think the evidence should drive when and how it's used. Connect on LinkedIn →
